Now in its 28th year, RLT’s Education Program provides children ages 4–12 and teenagers with comprehensive theatrical training and personal development. Our mission is for each student in our program to find his or her voice and sense of play in a non-competitive atmosphere.
We believe that drama provides our students with the tools necessary to become not only respectful patrons of the arts, but creative problem solvers, self-confident leaders and effective communicators. The study of theatre not only trains our students to be better actors, it inspires them to be better people.
Our award-winning education program provides high quality theatre arts instruction to over 900 students each year in a safe and nurturing environment.
One-week and two-week camps focus on the process of creating theatre through fun, imaginative, nurturing creative play and ensemble building. All camps will culminate in an ‘open classroom’ to give parents and friends a taste of the participants’ everyday experience in the program.
Teen conservatory programs give the serious theatre student the opportunity for in-depth exploration in a variety of areas. Conservatory Programs are guided by accomplished program staff and professional guest artists.
