Clown'n Around - Track Out Camp for ages 7-12

Tracked out? Looking for something to do? Be a clown for a week! Learn clowning skills as you explore clown makeup, magic tricks, balloon sculpture, juggling and improvisation. Eight sessions throughout the 2011-2012 school year. Limit: 12 students.

Cost: $225 per week
Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm

Track 1: March 12 – 16
Track 2: February 13 – 17 CANCELLED

About the Instructor:

Gary Zwerin has been clowning as Calvin Klown since 1980. He was named Clowns’ of America International’s Clown of the Year in 1996. He has been teaching the Art of Clowning for more than 25 years. Realizing the value of Clowning in building confidence, promoting self esteem, encouraging teamwork and stimulating creativity, he started his highly successful Camp Clown’n Around for children in 1992.

What campers should bring to camp each day:

• Two snacks and a lunch

What campers should bring on the first day of camp and leave at the theatre:

• One old towel
• One headband
• One large powder brush
• Two shoe boxes in which to store magic and make up supplies.
• One free standing mirror (6-inch or larger)
