The following classes are suitable for six-year-olds.

Access Theatre Now!

Ages: Flexible

This class gives students with physical, emotional, learning and developmental disabilities an opportunity to gain self-esteem, improve social and communication skills and explore new modes of self-expression – all in a non-competitive, structured atmosphere. Each session will culminate in an open classroom highlighting the individual talents of all involved. Support staff is welcome. No previous experience necessary. Limit 12 students.

Cost: $90 per session
7 instructional hours

TUESDAYS, 4:30 – 5:30 PM

Session I: September 6 – October 18
Session II: October 25 – December 13 (no class Nov 22)
Session III: January 10 – February 21
Session IV: March 13 – May 1 (no class Apr 3)

Creative Drama (APEX)

Ages: 6 – 7

Students will develop their creativity and learn to focus their energy as they explore skills needed to bring a story to life such as characterization, concentration, dialogue, improvisation and pantomime. Each session ends with a “Sharing” for parents and friends. No experience necessary. Limit 12 students.

I Wish I Were a Butterfly!

March 6 – April 24 (no class April 3)
Ants, Grasshoppers, Lions and Mice!

Act out important life lessons taught in delightful African folktales.

Wednesday Session IV: 4-3-2 Once Upon A Story
Wednesdays, 4:30 – 5:30 PM
March 14 – May 2 (no class Apr 4)
Discover the power of your imagination as you make up your own classic stories!

SATURDAYS, 9:30 – 10:30 AM

Saturday Session III: African Folktales
Saturdays, 9:30 – 10:30 AM
January 14 – February 25
Act out important life lessons taught in delightful African folktales.
